(NDJ) – Experts warn about a parasite that lives in tap-water, swimming pools, sea water and dirt, that once trapped under a contact lens, begins to chew away on the eye’s cornea.
The damage caused to the cornea by the Acanthamoeba parasite could lead to blindness.
