Butterflies Mutate Near Fukushima

TOKYO – The radiation exposure stemming from the Fukushima nuclear disaster in March 2011 is causing butterflies near the contaminated area to mutate.
Japanese scientists discovered mutated butterflies during analysis of radiation leaks and published their findings in Science Reports.
